PUSH held one of its largest member meetings ever last Saturday. Longstanding PUSH activists were joined by other residents attending their first meeting. Excitement about the "violation" campaign, which features hundreds of highly visible orange and green "tickets" on derelict city-owned property, probably explains the big turnout.
PUSH members made plans for a direct action (details forthcoming) on June 10th and did a comprehensive power analysis of City Hall, with the help of our expert trainer Tammy Greaton from the Center for Community Change.
