If you'd like to stop by and grab an application, our open hours for anyone looking to submit a rental application are on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM at 456 Massachusetts Avenue.

New Housing Projects

Mass Ave Community Homes (MACH)

The Buffalo Neighborhood Stabilization Company Inc (BNSC), the housing development arm of PUSH Buffalo, in partnership with Housing Visions, Inc. is thrilled to be launching the Mass Ave Community Homes (MACH) project. The project creates 46 high-quality, energy efficient, affordable apartments on Buffalo’s West Side. 
The project will be located on blocks directly within PUSH’s Green Development Zone including Massachusetts from Normal to Chenango, Normal between Vermont and Massachusetts, Fourteenth between Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Sherwood Street, Hampshire at Fifteenth, Chenango between Massachusetts and W. Ferry, and a mixed-use building at the Five Points intersection of W. Utica, Rhode Island, and Brayton. 

The project will yield (13) one bedroom units; (13) two bedroom units; (20) three bedroom units; and (1) four bedroom unit. 5 units will be fully accessible and adapted for person(s) with mobility impairments and 3 units will be adapted for person(s) who have hearing and/or vision impairments. All units will be constructed using green building practices and the project will participate in the Energy Efficiency & Green Building Performance Initiative through NYS HCR and NYSERDA’s Energy Star Labeled Homes Program.

This project is currently under construction.

Massachusetts Avenue Sustainable Homes (MASH)

People United for Sustainable Housing’s (“PUSH”) The Massachusetts Avenue Sustainable Homes Project involves the development of 5 high quality affordable rental apartments within PUSH’s Green Development Zone (GDZ) on the West Side of Buffalo. The project will preserve and transform two long vacant homes and build a new home on a large vacant lot. 

This project is currently under construction.

Commercial Rental Properties

PUSH Buffalo will be accepting applications for its first commercial property. We anticipate 527 W. Utica to be ready for tenants by June 2015. 

We will have TWO spaces for rent. Each will be approximately 400sq feet. Monthly rent for each unit is expected to be between $350 and $400. Applicants should have an established small business. 

Tenants will be chosen by our Community Development Committee. Both store fronts are being designed for use as retail space.
